Davidson Claims High Rank as Top Producer of Fulbrights

This year's baker's dozen joined last year's 13 Davidson students that have earned admission into the federal government鈥檚 flagship international educational exchange program. A lifelong lover of books and stories, Hutton enjoyed writing in his spare time but didn鈥檛 pursue writing professionally. Instead, he majored in mathematics and dabbled in pre-med while at Davidson. Post-graduation, he entered medical school. A year and a half into a pediatrics residency, Hutton and his wife, Sandra Gross, bought (and saved) their beloved neighborhood bookstore.
