What is your go-to meal in the area? Carrburritos is my absolute go-to food spot in Davidson and my order rarely changes: a Mejor Burrito with Pollo Asado - my pro tip is to add pickled jalape帽os.
What is an activity or hobby you do outside of work? If it鈥檚 not already obvious, I鈥檓 a foodie. Whether it鈥檚 a trip to the farmer鈥檚 market, cooking a new recipe at home on a weeknight or checking out a new restaurant in Charlotte with my wife, I鈥檓 constantly exploring new things to eat.
Why Davidson? Just like several of my colleagues, it鈥檚 ultimately about the people for me. Over the years, four as a student and six on staff, I鈥檝e found friends and colleagues that will last a lifetime because they support and challenge me every day. Davidson has a knack for surrounding you with the right people.
How would you spend a spare afternoon in the Lake Norman or Charlotte area? We鈥檙e going to my favorite neighborhood in Charlotte, NoDa, which is short for North Davidson; it鈥檚 a bit misleading because it鈥檚 actually south of the town of Davidson and located just outside of downtown Charlotte. This is a neighborhood known for street murals and eclectic businesses. You鈥檒l find artisan gift shops, tattoo parlors, music venues and some of Charlotte鈥檚 best food all within a few blocks.
