Like many of us, I simply can’t imagine my life without Davidson. My closest friends, my first job, and countless memories (mostly in basements – Little Library or Patterson Court!). I can’t wait to spend time together back on Exit 30 next June and also help put together a class gift that represents a small token of appreciation for what Davidson gave to all of us.

2026 Reunion Co-Chair

I came to Davidson searching for a community, and I found one. My peers, the faculty, and the staff challenged and supported me, creating a safe space where I could grow, explore my passions, and discover new ones. Now, as a college advisor, I see every day how transformative it is when students find that kind of community and how limiting it is when they don’t. That’s why I volunteer and give back. As an alumnus, I feel a responsibility to ensure Davidson continues to uphold its values of mutual respect, service, and leadership so that every student has the chance to thrive.

2026 Reunion Co-Chair

Davidson was the first place that really taught me how to think — how to wrestle with hard questions, stay patient when the answers weren’t obvious, and lead with curiosity instead of just confidence. It’s where I learned to ask the right questions, not just give the quickest answers. It also changed my life trajectory. I moved up a few socioeconomic rungs because of the education I got here — and while I can’t prove the counterfactual (maybe that would’ve happened anywhere), I’m grateful Davidson didn’t move me in the opposite direction. That’s no small thing. I volunteer and give back because this place shaped the person I am now — an intellectually curious, actively contributing adult in work and in life. And if I can help create that same leap for someone else (and maybe throw a great reunion party while I’m at it), then that feels worth doing.
